Stacey and Power have been a team since March 2005. Power is Stacey’s first horse, although she’s been riding on and off since age 11. She and Power are preparing for the show ring and plan to compete in Arabian Sport Horse, dressage and native costume. We wish you much success, and thank you for making us part of your team!

Stefanie brings three horses to Magic Moments – mother/daughter Miko and Luna; and Zoey. Stefanie started riding at age 10 and tried out many of the major disciplines – saddle seat, barrel racing, polo and dressage – before settling on hunter/jumper.

She’s currently campaigning Zoey, a gray Dutch Warmblood gelding, in the Adult Amateur Hunter 3’ division at local rated and unrated shows. Zoey, whom Stefanie describes as a “real sweetheart,” has also taught several less experienced riders how to jump cross rails.

Luna will be Stefanie’s jumper. This young bay mare is by a Hanoverian stallion out of Stefanie’s Thoroughbred mare, Miko. Luna will complete her initial under-saddle training in May. In the meantime, Stefanie has been showing her in hunter breeding classes at area “A” shows. Miko is semi-retired.

John and Precious are the Newest arrivals at Magic Moments. John enjoys trail riding on Precious and is excited about being at Magic Moments Stable. John has a goal of being ready for the trail ride at Rodeo time in Houston. He has been working with Precious everyday to make sure she is ready for all that work. The two of them joined Magic Moments on an outing to 7IL ranch where we rode almost 13 miles in a ride-a-thon as a fund raiser for S.I.R.E. a therapeutic riding program located in Hockly, TX. John has also been working on his horsemanship skills with Cody Siebert at the barn on the clinic days.

Shelley has ridden sporadically since she was child, but she decided to take the plunge and buy a horse of her own in 2000. She discovered Victor at a farm in Waller. Victor acquired his name as the result of a friendly wager between his original owners and their Aggie vet of the same name, who correctly predicted his foaling date. Shelley rides for relaxation and now that Victor is five minutes from her home, she expects to spend more time in the saddle both at the barn and on our trail outings. Jacque brought Sera to Texas in 2004 in a trade that sent Arabian mare Tammi to a family in Arkansas. While nothing can replace Shadow, her first horse, Sera has certainly provided Jacque with the love she needed to make it through his loss, and has now claimed a special place in Jacque's heart.

Serendipity, a Dutch warmblood - QH cross registered with the American Warmblood Society, is beginning her show career as a hunter under the show name Something Fancy.  Jacque says she is glad that Sera likes to jump as much as she does and looks forward to one day spending more on horse shows than horse vets.

She has earned her Legion of Excellence and was awarded with her accomplishment in a more relaxed presentation.
