Magic Moments
Stable is a full board facility. The facility is designed to house
38 horses. The barn is staffed with full time employees that live on
the property. There is never a time when your horse is left alone.
Boarding includes daily turn out in individual paddocks. Upon
returning to their stall, the horses are either groomed or showered
depending on the weather. In the event that the rainy season is upon
us, the horses are either hand walked or lunged for daily exercise
instead of turnout.
All
horses are fed two or three times a day depending on their dietary
needs. The barn has a mixed grain sweet feed and bran mash on hand
along with equine senior. Included in the board is free choice
Coastal hay. Supplements along with alfalfa are available at the
owner’s expense. The barn staff cleans the water and feed buckets
regularly to keep up with the clean appearance. Stalls are cleaned
twice a day. The barn is equipped with an over head insect system to
minimize the airborn pests.
All of the stalls are 12’ X 12’. The floors of the stalls are rubber matted and are
bedded with pine shavings. The facility has a half-covered arena
with the remainder of it open. Both portions of the arena are
lighted for your use at any time day or night. Our location being
one block from the Addick’s Reservoir brings great trail riding land
right to our back door.
Our location is incredible. So close to the heart of Memorial, magic
moments saves you all the time you would spend in the car traveling
to and from the outer suburbs to visit and ride your horse.
